INDIPILIPINS 2015 - Present
INDIPILIPINS. The International, Internet band!

The INDIPILIPINS Band is composed of four professional musicians/arrangers/producers who have gotten together specifically to help and assist Indie Pinoy songwriters. Aside from wanting their songs to be heard, every Indie Pinoy singer/songwriter’s dream is to get that professional sounding, recording quality of their creation, and that is where INDIPILIPINS Band comes in. They have banded together to help the Indie Pinoy artist achieve that goal. The band recently held a song writing competition as a way of launching their name and their services, with the winner receiving the opportunity to have his or her song professionally arranged, recorded and produced by the band.

What makes the INDIPILIPINS Band uniquely different is that they have never actually met face to face! Each one of them lives in different parts of the world. Two band members, Nolit Abanilla and Christian Angelo Semilla live in different parts of the Philippines, Obet Rivera lives in Singapore and Butch Monserrat lives on the Gold Coast in Australia. Nolit and Butch run their own busy recording studios. Nolit is also a session bassist and plays with a band. Christian is a professional session drummer who also plays with a band, while Obet is a music teacher, session guitarist, songwriter and recording artist. Butch Monserrat is a songwriter and producer.

The band was formed when they met over the internet through Facebook. They discussed the issues regarding the plight of the Indie Pinoy songwriter and how money was always the main concern. Because they all cared and wanted to help those in need, they realized that the best way was to join forces over the internet to arrange, record and produce music for these artists and songwriters.

INDIPILIPINS Band was created with the Indie Pinoy singer/songwriter in mind. The band is not here to make a profit, but instead is here to take on music projects for those who don’t have the finances or means to afford a large budget production. The INDIPILIPINS Band offers their services for a very minimum fee and based only on what the songwriter can afford. If you are an Indie Pinoy songwriter whose dream is to have his or her song receive that professional sound production and quality, contact and message any of the INDIPILIPINS band members here on Facebook. They are here to help.
